Every year Reddish Vale becomes a poetry haven, in November the Poetry Competition begins. People take their pens and scribble down anything that comes to mind. 1997 was the year was the year that the rules changed. In previous years the Poetry Competition was themed, in 1997 however, the Poetry Competition became a free choice competition. Writers could choose what they wanted to write about. Here we have all of the winners and runner up poems from the 96-97 and 97-98 competitons. Soon we will have the winners of this years competition, 98-99. |
